On his way to New York to meet the father he never knew, Pedro meets a fellow illegal immigrant, Juan. Pedro shares his story with the boy and, when he awakens, discovers his bag missing--and along with it the letter of introduction to his father. Things heat up in this thriller as Juan assumes Pedro's identity, passing himself off as his father's errant son, with a penniless Pedro hot on his trail.
